A duo of Smithers artists will take over the Terrace Art Gallery in October.
Title YOUR2: Coastal influence, the exhibition features paintings by Mark Thibeault and Mark Tworow.

“They are abstract and expressive works inspired by this experience,” he said. “Even if we are largely removed from this environment, the ambience of this environment is found in the works, just like the richness of the landscape.
Thibeault’s works are abstract expressionist tinkering in various media, mainly nature, and have recently gained significant international recognition.
His work is now represented by the prestigious Noon Powell Fine Art in London, UK, and his painting “Confluence” has been featured in the Art Folio 2021, a very brilliant annual publication showcasing “the world’s most exciting contemporary artists. whole world “.
Tworow also identifies as an abstract expressionist although his work is much more recognizable as depictions of the mountains, lakes and forests of northwestern British Columbia.
He has had several major solo exhibitions and his paintings are held in private collections in Canada, the United States, England and New Zealand.
