WALES, GUYS: “The Magic of Christmas” is the theme of the Gals’ n Guys Treasure Valley Connection gathering next Tuesday, December 7, in Ontario.
The event will take place at Kirley’s Family Dining, 830 SE 1st Ave. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the buffet served at 6:00 p.m. with the program.
Guest vocalist will be Adrian’s Obadiah Neasham, who recently released his latest album, “Good News” recorded with Crossroads Studio. He will sing the music from the album as well as Christmas favorites.
Inspirational speaker Carla Dalke of Boise will present “My Best Christmas Ever”.
The cost of the event is $ 12. Reservations are encouraged by calling or texting Wanda at 208-739-5030.
Treasure Valley Connection is associated with Stonecroft Ministries International. The next monthly dinner will be on Tuesday January 4, also at Kirley’s. The public is invited.

ART EXHIBITION: An exhibition of works by local artist Eddie Melérez will begin with an opening event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 3 in the Harano Gallery at the Four Rivers Cultural Center. The exhibition continues until January 28.
The exhibition features a series of acrylic and oil paintings on canvas that seek to strike up a conversation.
The exhibition explores Mexican and indigenous communities through the eyes of the artist. The title explains the goal as “Our Struggle to Be Seen in Intermediate Space.” Paintings of a people that history has painted.
Melérez said he hopes to inspire the community with his work and engage viewers who come to the show with their legacy and personal stories. He seeks to give them a sense of self and place by using his art as a means to create discussion.
“I want people to reconnect,” he said.
LIGHTS ON: The Christmas Spirit and Lighting celebration will add a sparkling touch to the season this Friday, December 3 at the Four Rivers Cultural Center in Ontario.
The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with an illuminated tree at 6 p.m.
Children can have their picture taken with Santa Claus, and there will be Christmas activities and carols.
MUSIC on TVCC: The Treasure Valley Community College Concert Band will perform a season-celebrating concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7 at the Meyer-McLean Theater.
The TVCC Symphony Orchestra will present its winter concern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday December 3.
Tickets are available at 6:45 p.m. on show nights. The cost is $ 5 for adults, $ 3 for seniors, and $ 1 for TVCC students with ID.
VACCINE: Malheur County Health Department vaccination clinics continue in December.
The ministry delivers the vaccines to its office, 1108 SW 4th St. in Ontario, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, December 9, 15 and 29. No appointment is necessary for this walk-in clinic.
There will also be vaccination clinics from:
• 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, December 3 – Four Rivers Cultural Center, Ontario.
• 10 am-4pm Saturday December 11 – Ontario Airport Fire Hall.
