Fraser Valley Watermedia Society Hosts Fall Virtual Art Exhibit

Wide variety of new paintings by local artists on display throughout November

The Fraser Valley Watermedia Society (FVWS) is hosting its fall art exhibit in a virtual format, starting November 1.

The show takes place all month at fvwatermediasociety.com and showcases a wide range of new water-based paintings by local artists, including works done in acrylics, watercolors, mixed media, and pen and wash.

All works will be available for purchase by sending a request to FVWS using the “Contact Us” page on the website by sending an email to [email protected]

FVWS is a group of about 25 artists who, in the pre-COVID era, gathered weekly for meetings, workshops and other events and for annual performances at the Clearbrook Library.

The company has also held exhibitions of their work at the Reach Gallery Museum and the Kariton Art Gallery.

During the pandemic, members worked online and posted artwork on the company’s website and Facebook page.

This fall will see the return of some limited physical meetings of member artists.
