Romantic rock is eagerly awaited Punk Rock & Brushes The Holiday Art Show returns for its sixth year, with its Grand Opening Night and Artist Red Carpet Reception taking place on Saturday, December 11 at The Lazarus Experience in downtown Los Angeles. Punk Rock & Brushes has become a household name, known for bridging the gap between music and art with their extravagant art exhibitions with the release of their one-of-a-kind art book: The interior of artists written by foreigners, which features works of art and stories from two world-renowned talents in the music, art and skateboarding communities.
This annual art exhibition celebrates fine art and photography from creators who share a passion for music and art. The Punk Rock & Brushes Holiday Art Show is a family-friendly event for all ages that will feature works by musicians Warren fitzgerald of The Vandals, Jim Lindberg of Pennywise, Jason Cruz of Extended, Matt Hensley of The Flogging of Molly, Eric Melvin of NOFX, Mike Gallo of Agnostic front, and Monkey Addicts of drug addicts; professional skateboarders Steve caballero and Christian Hosoi; tattoo artists Tokyo Hiro and Jason adams; photographers Blair Alley and Brent Broza, and visual artists Soma Snakeoil, Sarah Melvin, Natalia Fabia, Chris Shary, Lori Herbst, Stacie Stevenson, The Mad Twins: Olya & Vira Ishchuk, Shawn Foley, Paul Kobriger, Brian Bent, Dan Smith, and Marc DeSalvo. Each artist will have several original pieces, prints and much more.
The Punk Rock & Brushes The Grand Opening Reception of the Holiday Art Show will be open to the public from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11 and will feature signings from featured artists, music throughout the night by special guest DJs, including Josh freese of Sting, the vandals, and Devo, Mama Troy, and Noodles of Offspring, as well as original music and live parties and members of The Bombpops, The Aquadolls, and Sitting on Stacy. The reception will also include a full cocktail bar, coffee booth, red carpet, live body paintings, and more.

Punk Rock & Brushes not only uses their community to make artists’ voices heard, but also to help those in need. This year, Punk Rock & Brushes has partnered with TUK Shoes and a plethora of musicians to promote and fund The Alexandria House and Rock To Recovery. Unique designs will be painted on TUK shoes by members of Slipknot, Resume Sunday, Fishbone, NOFX, and more. Each pair of shoes will be auctioned off and all proceeds will be donated to The Alexandria House, which provides safe and supportive housing for women and children who are in the process of transitioning from emergency shelter to economic stability and poverty. permanent housing.
