“Spring I” art exhibition opens at Plum Bottom Gallery

Plum Bottom Gallery will hold an opening reception for its spring i art exhibit April 23, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 4999 Plum Bottom Road in Egg Harbor. Featured artists will be at the gallery from 3-6 p.m., with artist talks beginning at 4 p.m.

Among the artists featured, Stephanie Lord is a Door County resident who paints en plein air. She has participated in both the Miller Art Museum and the Hardy Gallery Juried exhibitions.

Inspired by the American Impressionist style, Keary Kautzer paints with limited hues to set the mood. Each scene is inspired by the landscape of Door County and brings back cherished memories.

Stella Holmes draws her inspiration from Van Gogh, Monet and the Impressionist period. Trying to draw the viewer into the scene with a balance of color and light, Holmes wants others to see the joy and beauty of sunlight shining through in every piece.

Annie Guldberg paints with her heart in the Rocky Mountains and her feet in the Midwest, blending vibrant dreams with the enchantment of the mountains. Its starting point is usually a real place which is then imbued with emotions, memories and feelings.
