St. Charles Arts Council Hosts 2022 Fox River Valley Student Art Exhibit


The St. Charles Arts Council recently announced that the 2022 Student Art Exhibition will be held April 9-30 at the 116 Gallery in downtown St. Charles.

The exhibit will feature artwork by students (K-12 and currently enrolled undergraduates) from the Fox River Valley.

The Student Art Show is sponsored by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

“We are delighted to be hosting this event again in 2022,” said Kathryn Hill, chief executive of the St. Charles Arts Council. “Last year, more than 50 student artists submitted entries for the show. The talent of our young people is inspiring!”

Students throughout the Fox River Valley are encouraged to submit jpg images of their artwork by Friday, March 11.

There is no entry fee to participate and all media except videos will be considered.

The Artist Reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at 116 Gallery located in the Mixology Salon Spa, 116 W. Main St. in St. Charles.
