The WITH Inspiration photo exhibition is organized by People Minded Business (PMB) in Belleville. PMB works with Ontario’s social service agencies, the people they support, their families and government to address challenges and create innovative, effective and efficient solutions.

To ensure the process is inclusive for all, PMB uses a variety of tools to help stakeholders think creatively. To that end, PMB recently created a “WITH Inspiration” photo series showcasing the artistry of Ontario photographers with disabilities.

More than 200 photos were submitted by photographers with disabilities from across the province at an event that received extensive media coverage. The photo exhibition culminates in 52 photos which will be included in a photo deck. The photographers of the chosen photos are paid for their works and will receive part of the payment for each set of cards sold.

This social enterprise is an opportunity for people with disabilities to share their talents with the wider community and influence positive changes in the supports they receive and in human service.

During the exhibition, PMB will also launch its “WITH Inspiration Talk” series. Two young women with intellectual disabilities, including Nicole Flynn from Belleville, will talk about their success in overcoming obstacles. These interviews are scheduled for 2 p.m.
